Preservation of the Monuments of Historical Importance
The ground where the battle of Buxar was fought in 1764, is a place of Historical importance and Monuments had been built by British Rule to mark the victory. The entire monuments was lying dilapidated. Uddeshya Bharti took the initiative and advocated with local MP for Raja Sabha Mr. Nagendra Nath Ojha to get it repaired and built a Arch at the entrance point of the road to the monuments.
After 3 years of persuasion the monuments was protected by construction of four walls and arch was erected from MP fund. The students of Bihar Public School, adjacent to the site, has taken over the responsibility for its upkeep.
